Strong Password Generator
Generate strong random passwords. Set length and character sets. Passphrase mode. Bulk generation. Runs entirely in your browser.
How to use the Password Generator
Generate a strong password
Use the slider to set length — 16 characters is the recommended minimum for most accounts. Tick which character sets to include. Longer passwords with all four character sets (upper, lower, numbers, symbols) are the strongest. Everything runs in your browser — passwords are never sent anywhere.
Try a passphrase instead
The Passphrase tab generates memorable multi-word passwords like "correct-horse-battery-staple". These can actually be stronger than short complex passwords because they are longer, and they are much easier to remember or type. Add numbers for extra strength.
Bulk generation
The Bulk tab generates up to 100 passwords at once — useful for setting up multiple accounts, generating one-time codes, or creating a list for a team. Click Copy all to copy the full list to your clipboard in one action.
A 16-character password using all 4 character classes (uppercase, lowercase, digits, symbols) has roughly 100 bits of entropy — enough that even a billion-guesses-per-second attacker would need over a hundred trillion years. The catch: 'P@ssw0rd!2024' technically meets the criteria but is in every cracking dictionary. Length plus randomness beats length plus pattern.
If you're picking one password to memorise (a master password for a manager, your email account), use a 5-word Diceware passphrase instead — it's easier to remember and harder to crack than most 'complex' passwords people invent.
